It’s that time of year again when the Christmas trees begin to go up, we buy Brussel Sprouts for the only time in the year and we dread having to drag ourselves round the shops. It seems that every year we make the same old journey into exhaustion and frustration losing sight of why we’re doing it all in the first place. Why not make a change this year and take time out of the madness to focus on what Christmas is all about. The birth of a Saviour who would save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21) This year’s carol service in Moneydig will be on Sunday 15th December at 7pm. The Carol Service will be a traditional evening of readings and song. As with other years we are thankful to our organist Heather McAleese who has organised our choir who will lead the praise.
The Carol Service isn’t our only opportunity to celebrate Christmas. Our children will preform their traditional Nativity on Sunday 22nd at 12 noon. This is always a wonderful family occasion right in the mouth of Christmas. Of course there’s also our Christmas Morning Service at 10:30am.
If you would like to listen to any of our advent services then why not click here to catch up.
We look forward to seeing you this Christmas and hope you find this opportunity to escape the madness beneficial.
